Bodybuilder's protein shakes
contain banned substance
Under fire ... Jodie Marsh
RIPPED Jodie Marsh has a new range of bodybuilding products – but one contains a performance-boosting substance BANNED for pro athletes.
The former glamour model has stunned the world with her new muscly physique.
She even shocked Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno as they tested each other’s strength in the gym.
Now, Jodie has released a range of JST Jodie muscle-building protein shakes on the back of her new career.
But one of her supplements, Rage212, contains a banned substance called 1,3-dimethylamylamine — and the high caffeine count alone could make an athlete fail a doping test.
As a competing bodybuilder, it means Jodie isn’t allowed to take her own product.
A source said: “It seems bizarre that Jodie would endorse a product she can’t and hasn’t taken herself.
As someone who has competed with the Natural Physique Association, you’d think she’d champion a more natural approach to fitness.”
The product, which contains 24mg of the banned substance and 150mg of caffeine per serving, comes with the warning: “Always use extreme caution and never exceed the suggested dose.”
Her manager said last night: “Jodie hasn’t taken the product herself as it is against the rules for the competitions in which she competes.”
