Tragic ... Big Brother's Scott Mason left the house yesterday to be told of loved one's death

BIG Brother contestant Scott Mason briefly left the house yesterday as he was told about the tragic death of a loved one.

History student Scott, 20, was called to the Diary Room and asked to leave so that the news could be broken to him in private.
A statement on the Channel 5 show's Facebook page read: "Scott has suffered a bereavement of someone close to him.
"After leaving the House temporarily to receive the news, he has decided to rejoin the House for the time being."
Scott left for around 90 minutes, before deciding to return.
For privacy reasons it has not been revealed whether the death was of a family member or a close friend.
